- At Frontier Machines, we are building software to teach robots arbitrary manipulation skills and to enable them to improve “on the job”. Robots enabled with such software can help address the labor shortage problem and greatly improve productivity of businesses that make and move physical stuff.

Job Description
- Develop software and algorithms (to teach robots arbitrary manipulation skills) that work on real hardware
- Understand and translate customer needs to product definition
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- MS or PhD in computer science or another mathematically rigorous field from a competitive program
- Deep understanding of imitation and reinforcement learning
- Strong math and physics fundamentals
- Ability to read, understand and implement techniques from latest academic literature
- Comfort with debugging and fixing complex issues associated with deployment of software on real hardware
- Working knowledge of techniques such as calibration, SLAM etc. commonly used in robotics and computer vision
